Amring Pharmaceuticals is devoted to offering a wide variety of products

At Amring we are committed to helping people improve, enhance and extend their lives. Amring sells uniquely positioned and harder-to-manufacture generics that bring value to customers and patients. We spend every minute of every day examining how to bring historically complex prescription medications to market. Amring’s portfolio is – and always will be – comprised of unique generics that fill niche markets and deliver continuous value.

Strengths

With just 20 employees, Amring USA specialises in high-demand niche products that are rarely provided by the larger generic houses. Working with external partners to produce drugs at a highly competitive price, Amring’s agility in both project and technology management makes it exceptionally successful at commercialization.

The generic drug Desmopressin is one of the company’s major products. Desmopressin combats diabetes insipidus, which prevents the body from retaining the right amount of water, a condition that can prove fatal. This niche product also successfully ameliorates severe cases of haemophilia. Desmopressin is so effective that it works like the naturally-occurring hormone vasopressin, and its potency is its great advantage. This means that it can be administered in several different ways: as a nasal spray, an injection, and both as a traditional and melt-in-the-mouth tablet.

Desmopressin has transformed the lives of countless children suffering from overnight urinary incontinence, particularly young boys. It has equally been of great help to elderly patients who may suffer from involuntary voiding.
